Congratulations Kendall and Tena! I hope you enjoy every success with Bombay! Gorgeous 16.1h grey Anglo-Trakehner by Leonidas out of an Oldenburg/Trakehner-approved TB mare. This talented young athlete is very special with a strong, correct topline and lots of presence. Elegant and forward, he displays elastic movement, expressive and very active! Showing a huge walk and uphill trot with pronounced suspension, Bombay steps well underneath. He has an active, swinging canter that will serve him well in any arena. Bombay’s powerful heritage includes Leonidas*Pg* (ATA gold performance), the only living US sire in the top ten list of sires with the highest number of offspring winning USDF-Horse of the Year awards from 2002-2005. Leonidas retired from a very successful Grand Prix dressage year in 2002 when he was on the B list for the USET team with a median score of 68.4% at Grand Prix Freestyle. Leonidas also held the title of USDF open Horse of the Year at Intermediare I Freestyle and USDF open Horse of the Year at 4th level. He is the only Trakehner stallion approved first by the American Trakehner Association that has also been approved by the German Verband without going through inspection in Germany. Many of his offspring have already excelled in USDF competition through Prix St. George and have won numerous prestigious breeding awards, some over fences as hunters. Enjoy endless possibilities with this talented gelding! Bombay is going lightly under saddle. He is fluid
